In north of France we produce some genievre (dutch style of gin ) The most popular is genievre de houlle very delicious  I'm from a small farming village community the winter are cold and in the old days  the farmers after breakfast have a "bistouille" it's a coffee and genievre mix together  It was a drink to keep them warm for most of the day ! It was a tradition now the farmers do not need that anymore  But i think the world need this drink a cup of coffee with the peace sign and the gin to warm the HEART The world would be in better place 

Sunday afternoon cocktail  It was back to the basic to the roots I'm from the northern of France we produce world class beers  This week I choose a german beer Krombacher  Great beer to enjoy in hot summer afternoon  C heers Sante Happy apero from the Apero bar 

A charcoal roasted cabbage  It's so delicious and very simple to do  You need one small cabbage and a charcoal BBQ  Roasted for 1 hour directly to the coal the outside of the cabbage will  be burn  Cut it in small wedges and enjoy it with your favourite dip I did plain yogurt sumac lime zest and chive  I's a great a great backyard appetizer in a hot summer day with a chill rose  Try it !!!! My new BBQ a Kamado It's a great toy  It make delicious foods from grilling smoking hot and cold  making breads pizza  It's such a great BBQ  Bon appetit !!!

Easy delicious potatoes  Potatoes garlic butter wrap them in foil paper baked them  inside the bbq charcoal  Just delicious and easy  bon appetit

Apero bar  Our sunday afternoon cocktail  Pin colada  Havana club anejo rum fresh pineapple coconut cream  I was very fortunate to be part of the Club Med family for 10 beautiful years I was very fortunate to leave in Mexico in the Bahamas ST Lucia Martinique  The beauty of the caribbean delicious food , beautiful island and amazing peoples I LOVE THE CARIBBEAN  Maybe it's time for our next chapter  Happy Apero !!!
